Proxima Table: Custom sized to your needs

The HACO PROXIMA base consists of IPE profiles (I-beams) over the entire length.

The gantry of the machine rests on oversized linear guides, mounted on these IPE profiles, and is driven by brushless AC Servo motors with rack-and-pinion system on both sides (double X-axis drive).

The machine base is longer than the length of the cutting table, as to provide a free space at the back of the table to ‘park’ the gantry to avoid damage to the cutting head while loading and unloading material sheets.

On the gantry itself, two oversized linear guides are mounted as well as a rack-and-pinion system. A brushless AC Servo motor moves the right (main) carrier in the width direction of the machine (Y axis movement).

The main carrier (right) holds the plasma torch, one or more supplementary carriers with oxy-fuel torches are mechanically fixed to the main carrier by means of a metal wire system, and can be put at any desired distance from each other.

One or more oxy-fuel cutting torches can be ‘parked’ at the left side of the gantry, to create free movement for the other torches.

Driven by high-performance, PC-based hardware, the APC59-T allows very fast processing of data and highly accurate calculation of plasma burning operations.

The touch panel effectively reduces the number of keyboard- and button actions to an absolute minimum, allowing the user a straightforward, intuitive control of the entire production cycle.
